Warsaw Elementary's 6th grade Math teacher, Ms. Monica Ruffin, is highly skilled using and analyzing student work on Accelerated Math. She utilizes it every day in her classroom to deliver effective instruction. To share her expertise on how to properly and effectively use Accelerated Math in the classroom, I asked her to conduct professional development to every teacher during their PLCs. We provided her a substitute in her classroom while she delivered the PD. To quote one of the teachers who saw her presentation:
"I use Accelerated Math all the time now in my classroom because of Ms. Ruffin's helpful presentation. I use it to gather data on student strengths and gaps and to individualize my support for every student. I cannot thank her enough for her continued support and wisdom to improve my mathematics instruction."

Our staff has countless talents and strengths, both collectively and individually. We use each of our staff member's creative genius to put on events that continue to build the positive culture we have. The first set of pictures below to details the leadership of our 7th grade teachers, as they worked with Junior Beta Club to conduct a school walkout on March 17th to honor the lives of those lost to gun violence. The second set of pictures below show the leadership and creativity of our school guidance counselor, school social worker, and Kindergarten team in putting together a beautiful and fun Kindergarten registration for our future students and families! These artifacts speak to our Leadership Team leveraging the creativity and strengths of our diverse staff to promote a school culture of equity and excellence.
